The BIG ADVENTURE

As part of my Jubilee celebrations towards the big Five Oh I decided on a solo trip of a lifetime, exploring Botswana, then on to see the Victoria Falls, heading south through Namibia, back to South Africa. The budget was less than shoestring and inexpensive Baked Beans appeared on my menu.

The older posts are about my preparations and the newer ones are from my adventure to date.

Yippee yippeee yay yay - a prezzy

The lovely Angela (Letters From Usedom - her blog) sent me a marvellous clever multi-tool from Germany.  Given my previous experiences when some of the parcels Angela and others have sent me have been "redistributed" by the SA Post Office staff, we decided to send this prezzy to another post box address and it worked!!!

Marvellous Multi-Tool

What made me laugh is the postcard she put in the parcel, I simply had to share this with you!!

Angela darling, thank you so much for the super present which will be so useful on my adventure and for making me laugh when I read the message to the "redistributing staff" xx

Good spell, huh?! I should have used that on the former socks-parcels,too! But I`m so happy this one arrived. Hope the tool will help you cope with all those wonderful scary bush adventures you will have to deal with... and that we want to hear about afterwards!!!!
