The BIG ADVENTURE

As part of my Jubilee celebrations towards the big Five Oh I decided on a solo trip of a lifetime, exploring Botswana, then on to see the Victoria Falls, heading south through Namibia, back to South Africa. The budget was less than shoestring and inexpensive Baked Beans appeared on my menu.

The older posts are about my preparations and the newer ones are from my adventure to date.

It's not always easy being ...

It's not always easy being an elephant

So when you can't push it over, then what?

Then you waste as much of the precious commodity as you can get in your trunk.

It isn't easy being a young tsessebe

Not sure who won this round

It's not easy being a yellowbilled hornbill and wanting to get into the mountain chestnut pod at the end of the branch

Success at last!

A few of some of the sights of Kruger -- yes there are some of the more classic ones, but I get bored of those.  Maybe I'll post some of them another time.

My next blogpost will be 710

Lovely! great to see everyone so happy and healthy, the ellie, tessebees and hornbill.

Don't forget, the classics will never bore us, so show as much as you want!

Did you treat yourself on your birthday? We toasted you here!
Happy 5-0 Janet!!
